It’s True. Charlie Sheen Is Charging Money To See Him Rant Live Onstage. And People Are Buying It!

Charlie Sheen is taking his one man rants on the road. According to the Associated Press, and confirmed by ticket sale pages on Ticketmaster, tickets went on sale Saturday March 12th for shows in Detroit and Chicago next month for an event called “Charlie Sheen Live: My Violent Torpedo of Truth” and cost bewtween 35 and 70 dollars a seat.
The ticketmaster description reads:
I’m going on the road. LIVE.

Will there be surprises? Will there be guests? Will there be mayhem? Will you ask questions? Will you laugh? Will you scream? Will you know the truth?
WILL THERE BE MORE?!?!

This IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock.

Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me.

Sheen promoted the show, which will cost between 35 and 70 dollars a seat, on Twitter. His publicist Larry Solters says Sheen  has already begun ‘rehearsals.’ I’m guessing that’s basically him around a big round table by his pool where the goddesses giggle at everything he says, once they determine whether it’s supposed to be funny or insightful. In fact, they probably giggle at both.

UPDATE: According to the Hollywood Reporter, the tickets for the first two shows, which went on sale over the weekend, sold out in just 18 minutes, a Ticketmaster record.

The 45-year-old actor was fired from the hit show “Two and a Half Men” last week. He’s now suing Warner Bros. for $100 million.
