I absolutely love Darren Criss’ solo version of “Teenage Dream”. Yet there was a lot of speculation this weekend that the singer may have been drunk while performing it at Perez Hilton’s birthday party.
On the new video, Criss does mess up a few times, and seems very…loose…to say the least while performing. The actor went to his Twitter account to clear up the speculation, saying:
“You know you’ve made it when the main discussion over one of your performances is whether or not you were drunk,” then adding the hash tag “iwasactuallysleepwalking.”
I don’t know if that was egotistical or an admission that he was just going through the motions. Either way, check out the video below and let us know if you think he was really that off to cause such a controversy.
