Matthew Perry is Heading Back to Rehab to ‘Focus On Sobriety’

Despite no reported relapse or problem, “Mr. Sunshine” and “Friends” star, Matthew Perry is returning to rehab.

According to PEOPLE, the 41-year-old actor, is returning to rehab to continue his recovery and “focus on [his] sobriety.”  Perry said in a statement:

“I’m making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the world wide web.”

Well at least we know his humor isn’t lost (and neither is Chandler Bing…).

Perry has apparently not relapsed but planned the trip “as a proactive measure.” He has been in rehab twice previously for a prescription pill addiction, once in 1997 and again in 2001.
