NBC’s “The Voice” By The Numbers: Who Makes What, What Things Cost, What It Makes.

Of all the judges on the NBC hit "The Voice," Christina Aguilera is the clear winner... taking in 225,000 dollars an episode. Her fellow judges make a fraction of that. Here's how it breaks down.

Of all the judges on the NBC hit “The Voice,” Christina Aguilera is the clear winner… taking in 225,000 dollars an episode. Her fellow judges make a fraction of that. Take a look at the breakdown:

The Hollywood Reporter reports that the show costs roughly 2.3 million dollars to produce, and the famous judges’ salaries account for a reported $450,000 of that. But while Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green make a ‘mere’ 75 thousand an ep, but with her $225K take, Christina Aguilera, the most recognizable of the bunch, makes more than three times that amount.

But before you wonder how the network pays such a staggering amount for just one judge, consider this: a 30 second commercial can bring in $250,000 on it’s own. Due to the success this season, ad rates are expected to rise to $375,000 per spot for next season.

In what was probably meant to be a humorous reaction to his rising recognizability, Cee Lo Green observed the turmoils of his success:

“To have to talk and talk and talk – it takes a toll on you,” the “Forget You” singer said. “There’s no way you can avoid people unless you can afford to fly private all the time, and I can’t. …It’s a toll of being talented.”

Admittedly, a little icky, but I’m sure he was joking… Right? Right?
