Russell Crowe’s Jor-El Will Fight General Zod in THE MAN OF STEEL

Superman fans have yet another reason to be excited: Turns out it won’t JUST be Clark Kent duking it out with General Zod…it’ll also be his father!
Russell Crowe took to twitter yesterday, telling fans,
“Umpteen hours fighting Michael Shannon. He’s very hard to put down,”
Michael Shannon plays the movie’s main villain, General Zod, while Crowe plays Superman’s real Kryptonian father, Jor-El. That would mean that, for the first time on screen, the two will have a brawl!
When asked who would win the fights, Crowe replied: “Hard to tell who wins, we are still fighting tomorrow.”
