I’m almost speechless. NBC is going to bring the Munsters back. Is this what television needs? Fortunately the show is in very good hands.

The peacock network has greenlit a pilot episode of the series, but this one will be an hour long, dialing back the campy humor and pumping up the edgy dramatic side. Apparently this has been in the works for more than a year.

On the upside, it’s in very the wildly imaginative hands of Bryan FullerHe’s best known for creating the quirky and fun series Pushing Daisies, that ran two seasons on ABC.
