VIDEO: Teddy Bear Throw Looks Cool For A Good Cause.

Every year the Calgary Hitmen hold a “Teddy Bear Toss” where spectators throw teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate the team’s first goal. They're then donated to charity. The video is oddly beautiful... It's also probably really good this isn't a canned food drive.

Every year, (for 17 years now) the Calgary Hitmen hold a “Teddy Bear Toss” where spectators throw teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate the team’s first goal. They’re then donated to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

It’s an oddly beautiful display when 25,003 teddy bears are flying through the air from level to level, passed along and thrown down to the ice. It’s like a waterfall of good will… very nice to see something so good causing true joy among so many people! It’s also probably really good this isn’t a canned food drive. That would be considerably less cute, and considerably more painful.
