Jim Carrey to Return for BRUCE ALMIGHTY Sequel?

BRUCE ALMIGHTY was a good movie.  Necessary of a sequel though?  Not after EVAN ALMIGHTY…

WorstPreviews is reporting that Universal Pictures is moving ahead with a sequel to the 2003 hit.  Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel (YES MAN) are in talks to write the script specifically for Carrey to return.

Back in June, Carrey himself said that he was thinking about bringing back “some old characters that everyone has been asking about.”

BRUCE ALMIGHTY grossed $484 million on a $81 million budget.  EVAN ALMIGHTY failed miserably, but that’s another story.
