Kristen Stewart has had a rough past few months.  But after being part of the scandal that rocked the tween world, it is time to get back to business.

Stewart recently showed up on the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of her new film, ON THE ROAD.  It was her first major appearances since the world found out she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her SNOW WHITE director, Rupert Sanders, and Stewart said in a new interview that she never thought about skipping the event:

“We have been waiting for this thing to be unleashed for so long. It was sort of one of those situations where you just have to put yourself in your body and go appreciate the moment.”

Stewart said to see all her fans out there supporting her for a movie that doesn’t have the built in fan base that TWILIGHT boasts was unbelievable:

“You expect a lot of people at a ‘Twilight’ premiere, but showing up at an ‘On the Road’ Toronto film festival screening and seeing that amount of people is absolutely, disarmingly amazing…It felt pretty cool.”

But what happens when it comes time for the press junkets and premieres for her next big movie: TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART II?  Will it be awkward for her and Pattinson to be in the same room together answering questions?  Stewart has only one thought:

“We’re going to be fine…We’re totally fine.”

Not sure what exactly that means in terms of Stewart and Pattinson’s relationship, but we’ll find out in just over two months…
