The Rocket Man confirmed the news with a short announcement on his official website, saying,
“Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable.”
The site also linked to an article in Hello! Magazine, which received a statement from the couple, saying,
“The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way.”
Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John was born via surrogate mother on January 11th. The 65-year-old John and 50-year-old Furnish already have a two-year-old son, Zachary.
