Bill Murray Literally Puts GHOSTBUSTERS 3 Script In The Shredder (So We Hear…)

Bill Murray is a force to be reckoned with.  For the last few months, any news that we have had concerning GHOSTBUSTERS 3 usual had to do with him opposing it or saying no.  And now, we have yet another example in the form of a paper shredder.

The National Enquirer is reporting that a few weeks ago, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd sent Murray a current GHOSTBUSTERS 3 script.  Whether he read it or not, Murray decided to send back the script, completely shredded in a box filled with a note reading: “No one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts!”

Granted, the source of the story is the National Enquirer, so we have to take it with a HUGE grain of salt, but admit that 1) you’re sad to hear GHOSTBUSTERS 3 may not happen with Murray, and yet 2) that was one of the coolest stories you’ve heard all month.
