Helena Bonham Carter To Play Elizabeth Taylor

First Lindsay Lohan, now Helena Bonham Carter? The actress has signed on to play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming BBC Four movie Burton and Taylor. Unlike Lohan’s TV movie “Liz And Dick” which aired on Lifetime, the movie will not follow their entire courtship… instead it will focus on the couple’s 1983 revival of Noel Coward’s Private Lives, which Burton and Taylor performed while they were not together, but playing a divorced couple who eventually reconcile. In other words, Bonham Carter will be playing Taylor when she was 52. (She herself is currently 46.)
