Jason Ritter Lands Comedy Pilot, Looks Remarkably Like His Dad, the Late John Ritter

Jason Ritter is following in his dad’s comedy footsteps – and also bears a remarkable resemblance to his late father, John Ritter.
The Emmy nominated actor, currently finishin up a story arc on Parenthood, will star in the Fox pilot Friends and Family.
Ritter is set to play Gavin, a Woody Allen-esque neurotic type who is about to go on a date with a woman he met online.
Currently 32, his dad John landed the starring role in the sitcom Three’s Company at age 28. In 2003John Ritter died as a result of complications from an undiagnosed heart defect. He was just days away from his 55th birthday.
