This is both slightly hilarious (if you’re a little sinister) and completely relateable. We have ALL been this girl, whether on a track and in life. (In my case, both, and fairly often.
But take heed, high school sprinter Makenna Kroge from Green Bay, Wisconsin: what started out as a false start has resulted in you being a hero. And a viral sensation.
For the record, I used to hurdle, and a few times at track meets my sneakers would fly off during the leap. I would keep going. Pissed the entire way, because my school actually had no track, so we practiced on a driveway. No wonder I was horrible at meets.
