In 2005, a younger, idealistic me spent the day at the amazing Macy’s Santaland, under the name “Peppermint Stick.” It was a great time, and the kids were both funny and adorable. (The ones I didn’t scare.) Some of them are applying for college now.

Honestly, what did we do before the internet? Here, because it exists, is the famous “pole licking scene’ from the holiday classic ‘A Christmas Story,’ re-shot, with all the characters replaced by hot dogs who talk.
It’s kind of disturbing to me when computer animators give animals human mouths. This cat’s teeth creep me out!! But even though this yodeling cat is creepy, it hasn’t stopped it from becoming a viral sensation. The video, created by the folks at Walmart to kick off the holiday season, has gone viral.
Since earlier this week I went off on the Kardashian holiday card, it seems only fair that I share one celebrity family that got it RIGHT.

The parents did – wrapping things like an old banana, a bottle of juice, or a half eaten sandwich. Then, they videotaped the kids’ reactions. It was priceless.
