His parents have since informed us that after the incident was smoothed over, he loved it, and has since been brought back to the exhibit at his own request. (That information likely comes as defense that they are not the worst parents in the world for traumatizing their child.)

 Donna was one of those performers who sang live as beautifully as she did on a record…. even as she got older. Check out how great she sounds in this live performance of “Hot Stuff!”

“She Works Hard For The Money.” Who hasn’t felt like the woman in this video at least once?

Okay, this video isn’t necessarily the best work we’ve ever seen, but it’s classic 80′s camp… a Donna Summer special where she enlisted the help of some celebs to get in on the action. This performance of “Bad Girls” might be more funny than anything, but Summer looks spectacular and features walk-ons from Twiggy and other stars.

I loved how Donna put on some 40′s garn amd played an Army wife in “There Goes My Baby.” A great setup showing off her powerful voice.

“This Time I Know It’s For Real” had the typical jolly take on the music video that the eighties were known for.

She sand the original “Enough Is Enough” with Barbra Streisand, but performed a great live version for VH1 with Tina Arena.

“I Will Go With You” was a great updated take on the classic operatic tune “Con Te Partiro” and was a great platform for her strong, unmistakable voice.

The website reports that Summer, who was born in Dorchester MA, died while in Florida.

Summer is survived by her husband, Bruce Sudano, their two children — Brooklyn and Amanda — and her daughter, Mimi, from a previous marriage.

In a new interview with ABC’s “Nightline”, the Oscar-winning actor says he blew it with Jolie because he didn’t think he was “good enough for her.”

“She has one way she wanted to live her life and I had another way to live mine…I was just too insecure.”

The 56-year-old actor went so far as to say that compared to Jolie, he felt “like the Phantom of the Opera hiding in the catacombs,” because people “actually said that I didn’t deserve to be with her.”

Like many celebrity relationships, their ever changing levels of fame also didn’t help situations:

“When you’re in a relationship, any two celebrities or whatever, you know, I think that puts on a lot of pressure…When Angie and I got married, during that time, I was more famous than she was to start with and then she becomes this big thing, it’s hard in these relationships.”

So where do the two stand now?  Thornton says that while their marriage may have failed, the two still remain friends:

“We had a great marriage and I chickened out because I didn’t feel good enough…That’s all that happened. It was no big deal, we never hated each other.”

Director Adam McKay recently spoke about the sequel’s direction, saying,

“[The story takes place] right when all the news started changing with the 24-hours news cycle in ’78 or ’79…All of a sudden, local news stations diversified and had Latino anchors and African-American anchors, and any time you’re talking about diversity and the Action News team, that’s always fun to deal with. We know these guys never deal well with change, and the good thing is that there’s a big blast of change coming. We’re going to be throwing a lot of innovation at them, and they’re not going to handle it well.”

Mind you, we do need a replacement for the oversized, hard to navigate scooters that are out there for people with mobility problems … and Honda‘s UNI-CUB robotic Segway-unicycle hybrid thing looks like it could be the perfect solution.  You can lean into turns and navigate through small spaces with ease.

I will quiet down about how a lot of people will use this out of laziness while I quietly get myself on the waiting list – at least to take a high speed spin around the mall. I may have to wait for the next generation of these – since these appear to go about 3 miles per hour.

Lopez – who makes a reported 20 million for judging season two of the FOX competition show, is doing the interview circuit for her new film, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” and mentioned the possibility on Ellen.

“Now this is my second year — I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies [she has twins with ex Marc Anthony] being 3, but now they’re getting more mobile, they’re about to go into school. . . . So I just don’t know.”

It may be that since Britney Spears just joined X-Factor and Christina Aguilera is already on The Voice, Lopez is well aware that reality competition shows need their diva musical artist to round out a panel, and she’s seeing an opportunity to cash in even further.
