Report: Ashton Kutcher to Replace Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men’

Yes, you heard it right…After months of much speculation, it appears that Charlie Sheen’s ‘Two and a Half Men’ replacement will not be John Stamos, Jerry O’Connell, or Hugh Grant, but one Ashton Kutcher.

Sources close to the negotiations tell The Hollywood Reporter that the former “That 70’s Show” star is now just finalizing the deal, and he is set to make a “huge payday”

CBS, Warner Bros. and Kutcher’s reps all declined to comment, but the sources say that Chuck Lorre has a “really funny” and clever storyline for Kutcher that “people are going to love.”

Kutcher seems like a great choice, especially since he hasn’t done television full time since 2006, and this’ll be a completely different, grown-up role compared to Kelso.  But I’m still a little confused as to why he would be coming back to television, especially since his movie career seems to be going decently at this point…I guess I would ask Hugh Grant the same question though…

More news as it develops.
