Chord Overstreet Expelled from “Glee” Club Early?

Only a few days ago, we got word that the “Glee” cast will be shaken up a bit next season with the seniors “graduating”.  Now, we get word that for one cast member, they won’t even be able to have that long.

According to Deadline, Chord Overstreet, who joined the show as Sam on season 2, will not be returning as a regular this fall.  His contract, which is still in place through the next season, will reportedly allow for guest appearances.

The 22-year-old actor tweeted on Friday,

“Well its been a good yr too bad its over, time for summer and starting fresh.”

At the same time, breakout guest star Darren Criss, who plays Kurt’s boyfriend, Blaine, will be upgraded in the show’s credits for season 3, and Harry Shum, Jr., who plays Tina’s love interest, will also become a regular.
