Dallas, the hit series that debuted on CBS in 1978 and ran 14 seasons is back… For real this time. While the show was initially entertained as a possible project for the silver screen starring John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez, it is now headed to TNT next summer, with several of the original cast… including Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray.

New castmembers include Desperate Housewives alums Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson, as well as Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, and Brenda Strong.

The video peek includes a shot of a female character holding up a gun… a not so subtle nod to the “Who Shot J.R.?” plotline that took America by storm during its original run, and continues to be one of the most successful series cliffhangers today. It’s nice to see Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) looking so good!
