Emilio Estevez’s Positive Update on Charlie Sheen

After the downward spiral that has been Charlie Sheen’s life these past few months, we finally have a bit of supposed GOOD news about the actor.

According to a new interview with Kit Hoover and Billy Bush on Access Hollywood Live on Thursday night, Sheen’s brother, Emilio Estevez, said that the actor is doing much better, and is back to being the real him:

“He’s a different guy. He’s a completely different guy…He’s got his voice back. And I think he’s got his focus. He’s on a new show and he’s gonna be roasted by Comedy Central – which I think is going to be hysterical. I think that he’s really got it together. And he’s very excited about the crew of the show he’s putting together.”

Both Sheen and Estevez have struggled with addiction and personal problems throughout their career. Estevez’s comments are a welcomed change to what father Martin Sheen said during an interview with Sky News back in February:

“He’s doing well. We pray for him. If he had cancer, how would you treat him?  This disease of addiction is a form of cancer. You have to have an equal measure of concern and love and lift him up.”

Sheen’s new show, “Anger Management” is in production.  His Comedy Central Roast will premiere on September 19th, the same day as the “Two and a Half Men” season premiere.

  • honestly i am proud of charlie for geting himself back together, but i can not believe that emilio and charlie are brothers because they don’t even look alike but that doesn’t mean anything.
