Van Halen is back. The group, again headed by David Lee Roth, will begin a widespread tour in 2012. Roth left the band back in 1985. Eddie and Alex Van Halen will be back – but Bassist/backing vocalist Michael Anthony is not in the mix. He’s actually in another band – with Roth’s onetime successor, Sammy Hagar.

In November 2011, Van Halen signed with Interscope Records, which has sparked rumors of the new album.

The first tickets for the Van Halen 2012 tour go on sale January 10.
