A Drunk Howard Stern Asks Twitter Followers For Their Phone Numbers, Then Calls Them!

Howard Stern and wife Beth Ostrosky created an online frenzy on New Year’s Eve when he tweeted that he and his wife were “drunk dialing” and asked his more than 900 thousand followers for their phone number.

From the looks of his Twitter page, Stern was dead serious. Several people complied with their digits, and the Stern family responded with phone calls to many of them. In some cases, if he had troubles getting through, he would tweet the fan to let them know of the problem. (See screengrab of some of the tweets below.)

From the looks of his page, it appears as though he spent about four hours calling various people across the country. What fan wouldn’t be thrilled to hear from one of their favorite celebrities? Looks like he’s just cemented his fan base!

Stern will be joining the judging panel of “America’s Got Talent” on NBC this year.
