Hugh Hefner’s New Year’s Resolution? Never Get Married Again

Hugh Hefner may have almost walked down the aisle in 2011, but the Playboy founder has confirmed: never again.

According to Daily News, the 85-year-old legend told People,

“This year has been a very interesting year for me, I almost got married…and as Holly (Madison) – a dear friend and former girlfriend – said, ‘Well, you missed a bullet.’  I think that’s accurate. I am clearly not meant to be married. Married life isn’t for me.”

If you remember, Hefner was engaged to marry 25-year-old girlfriend Crystal Harris.  He was married twice before – first, to his college sweetheart Mildred Williams in 1949, and then to Playmate of the Year Kimberley Conrad in 1989.

But don’t worry, all you romantics…Hefner is doing just fine in the single department.  He is currently dating both Shera Berchard and Anna Berglund.
