Is SNL Losing Its Dream Team?
Kristen Wiig, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg may be leaving SNL at the end of this season.
I know change is good and all, but yikes! They’re pretty much the series’ most funny cast members right now.
Us Weekly reports the trio will be moving on by season’s end. Wiig and Sudeikis have already established quite respectable film careers, and Sandberg’s film career is already growing.
Said their source; “Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, and Jason Sudeikis are all leaving after the end of the season … Kristen was talking about leaving a while ago …With her movie success, it’s no surprise.”
A spokeswoman for Wiig and Sudeikis has already tried to debunk the rumor, saying, “There is no truth to this rumor on both Jason and Kristen’s behalf.” Then again, that’s what they’re supposed to say until it’s true… unless it isn’t true… oh, celebrity gossip, you confuse us all sometimes!
Only time will tell!
