MOVIE PREVIEW: Meryl Streep Will Perpetuate My Crush On Her In “Hope Springs”

We love Meryl Streep. And it looks like that won’t change after seeing the preview for “Hope Springs,” a romantic/dramatic comedy where she plays a wife struggling to revive her struggling marriage. Who better to play a gruff, emotionally detached husband than Tommy Lee Jones? Check out the trailer.

Love Meryl Streep. Love. Her. And it looks like that won’t change after seeing the preview for “Hope Springs,” a romantic/dramatic comedy where she plays a wife struggling to revive her struggling marriage. Who better to play a gruff, emotionally detached husband than Tommy Lee Jones? Throw in Steve Carell as a marriage counselor and you’ve got some brilliant casting.

You can see there will be some genuinely emotional drama there… but also some hysterical comedy relief! Let the dramedy begin! Hope Springs opens on August 10th.

OMGTL: Pauly D And Vinny Are Looking For Love On A Brand New Dating Show

Published

Why have a rose ceremony, when you can have a “bros” ceremony?!

Two of America’s favorite best friends and bachelors are turning to reality tv to help them find love. That’s right, Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino from MTV’s The Jersey Shore are tired of the single life and are ready to find their one true loves. Although finding someone they will love more than one another might prove to be tricky…

A Double Shot At Love will feature the two Jersey boys living in a mansion together with 20 women, all vying for a chance to fist bump their way to the altar. Can’t you just smell the tanning-lotion coated drama already?! While both bachelors have had pretty significant relationships in their lives (Pauly D even has a child from a previous relationship) they both are looking to settle down and find Mrs. Right. And who better to help with that than your bestie?

The entire premise reminds me of the VH1 reality-dating show golden years with hits such as Flavor Of LoveRock Of Love and I Love New York. And if you ask me, television has been absolutely dull since we were last blessed with those shows.

The new series premieres on Jerzday, April 11th on MTV. Click below to see the official, and funny, promo.

This little girl’s reaction to getting “Elmo Shoes” on her birthday makes me wish I was a kid again.

McDonogh School’s Head Varisty Basketball Coach, T.J. Jordan, just helped to make his daughter’s 2nd birthday the happiest one yet. According to his Twitter post, his little girl is a big Elmo fan and judging by her reaction to her gift, I’d say that’s an understatement!

AWKWARD: Ross Didn’t Like His Pet Monkey On ‘Friends’?!?

Published

on

Remember back in the 90’s on Friends when Ross got a pet monkey while living in New York City and no one batted an eye? Those were truly simpler times. Here in the jaded 2019, we just discovered that David Schwimmer didn’t like working with that monkey and now I don’t know what to believe anymore.

Last night, Matt LeBlanc stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his latest sitcom, Man With A Plan, but it was his chat about a particular Friends star that has the internet buzzing. When Jimmy Kimmel coyly asked if Matt keeps in touch with Marcel the monkey (who is actually named Katie in real life), Matt shared a nugget of information that I wasn’t prepared to ingest. David Schwimmer did not like working with the monkey!

“I liked the monkey! I like animals, and the monkey was really cool. Schwimmer… Not so much. He’s the one that had to work with it the most, so he was like, ‘Again with the monkey?’ But I got along great with it.”

Ouch. Right in the nostalgia. Apparently Katie the monkey wasn’t always the most cooperative co-star as Matt recounted the time she forced taping to come to a complete halt when she climbed above the lighting grid to hang out on the ceiling. It took about thirty minutes and a few mealworms to finally get the monkey back down to the set! Talk about a diva.

Check out the fun interview below! Click ahead to 3:05 mark to hear all about the monkey business.
