Jennifer Lopez Says There Is “No Truth” To Reports She Is Definitely Leaving “Idol”

As we speculated earlier this week, it really does seem like Jennifer Lopez is playing hardball.

As we speculated earlier this week, it really does seem like Jennifer Lopez is playing hardball.

Following numerous reports that she will not be back at the judging desk for “American Idol” next season, Lopez hit Twitter last night to speak out on the subject, saying:

There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving Idol…All I said was I haven’t decided what I am doing next year…When I know for sure what I’m doing I will let the LOVERS know!

Earlier this week, reports suggested that Lopez’s upcoming tour with Enrique Iglesias would conflict with her I do duties, therefore leaving Randy and Steven looking for a third Musketeer.

When asked last week if she would come back to the show, Lopez responded:

I don’t know. I didn’t know last year, and I don’t know this year. I will have to wait and see what the rest of the year brings…I’m going on tour right now, see how I feel when I’m done with that. You know what I mean? It’s like one day at a time.

So basically, what that means is how much money and convenience will you be giving me to sit back in that chair again?

Something tells me a settlement will be reached…
