VIDEO: THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Viral Campaign Reveals Its Newest Epic Trailer!

Earlier today, a brand new viral campaign for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES hit the web, and now we have the epic results: a brand new trailer!
When fans visited TheDarkKnightRises.com, they were treated to a folder that seemed to be from the Gotham Police Department. The folder, titled “Anonymous Vigilante Organization,” held the city’s entire case against the masked vigilante known as Batman. (It was a hell of a read, I got to admit…)
But when fans got to page six, something interested showed up: a list of worldwide addresses. Each location contained a little white bat symbol somewhere in the vicinity. People were encouraged take a picture of the symbol and either Tweet it with the hashtag #TDKR07202012 or email it to [email protected]. Once all of the locations have been crossed off, the new trailer would be revealed.
It took less than 24 hours, and now, we have for you the third trailer for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Complete with a load of new footage, including the first words spoken by Joseph Gordon Levitt and a much better idea of where Catwoman’s loyalties lie, the trailer does not disappoint.
Check out the trailer below, but I warn you: get ready to watch it over and over (we get only a few choice lines of dialogue, an eerily simple soundtrack, and the first real images of Bruce Wayne suffering at the hands of Bane), each time ending with goosebumps and a chill down your spine.
