What Does Edward Norton Think of THE AVENGERS?

With THE AVENGERS now being a smash hit, we have to wonder…what does the lost member think of the film’s success?

During a press junket for MOONRISE KINGDOM, Edward Norton, who played Bruce Banner in Marvel’s THE INCREDIBLE HULK, was asked to comment on Mark Ruffalo’s take of the character.  His response:

“Mark is like a brother to me…Besides, he’s got two kids, and I’m really happy he gets to have this moment with them.”

Ruffalo signed on to play Banner in AVENGERS after talks between Norton and Marvel broke down.

So what does Norton think of the culmination of everything Marvel has worked for up until this point?  Believe it or not, he says he hasn’t even seen the film yet, mostly because “it just isn’t very important to me.”
