It seems like dance champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy has had enough of all the drama from his hit reality show.

It seems like dance champion Maksim Chmerkovskiy has had enough of all the drama from his hit reality show.

E! News is reporting that after fifteen seasons, Chmerkovskiy has finally decided to leave “Dancing With the Stars” when his contract expires.  The crowd favorite told the New York Post in a new interview that there’s not much he can really get out of the show after such a long span:

“What else do I have to do there after 15 seasons?…It makes total sense. The audience can’t expect for me to want to stick around, and the producers can’t expect for me to want to stick around…I loved doing it. But to be honest with you, at 32, I am at what-about-me time.”

So what would be the next step for Chmerkovskiy?  Acting, obviously!

“I caught the bug, as they say…This is something I really want to do.”

But fans shouldn’t worry yet…Chmerkovskiy still has some time left on his “DWTS” contract.  Look forward to seeing him compete in the upcoming All-Star season, as well as two more afterwards!
