Foo Fighters To Go On Indefinite Hiatus

Are there no more Foo Fighters on the horizon?!

Are there no more Foo Fighters on the horizon?!

Access Hollywood is reporting that the Foo Fighters are officially taking a break.

The band’s lead singer, Dave Grohl, confirmed the news earlier today, sending out an open letter telling fans that while the group is his life, “it’s a good thing for all of us to go away for a while,” and while he doesn’t know when the band would play together again, the split is definitely not permanent.

So while we are all mourning the loss of one of our favorite bands for the time being, what is next on the horizon?  Grohl says he’s now focused on his forthcoming Sound City documentary and album.

The Foo Fighters first hit the music scene back in 1994 and have won a total of 11 Grammys, including five earlier this year.
