Confirmed: Britney Spears Is Finished With “X Factor”
It seems like Britney Spears is taking the money and running!
After weeks of rumors, Access Hollywood is confirming that Spears will not be returning as a judge on Fox’s “X Factor” next year.
The site says that Spears is giving up $15 million a year to focus on her music career. She is currently working on her eighth studio album with rapper and Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am producing.
Show creator Simon Cowell and crew have already started to discuss who would be Spears’ replacement, but she’s not the only person they have to worry about. Fellow judge L.A. Reid confirmed back in December that he will also not be returning for Season 3.
Here’s to hoping we’ll just get Hillary Duff, and Miley Cyrus as new judges. We could rename the show “The Mickey Factor”!
