If you can’t pop and lock your way to happily ever after, then perhaps we should all give up on true love. That’s right ladies and gents, super heartthrob Channing Tatum and his equally gorgeous wife, Jenna Dewan just announced their separation. The couple met back in 2006 on the set of Step Up and consequently married in 2009. Known to be one of Hollywood’s coolest, prettiest, and happiest couples, this truly does come as a shock to fans. The couple has one child together, a 5 year old daughter named Everly. The couple’s last public appearance was at the 2018 Kid’s Choice Awards, which was filmed live on March 24th…that’s only 9 days ago! What happened guys?!?!? In Tatum’s official statement he writes: “There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision- just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.”
Both Tatum and Dewan have garnered successful Hollywood careers since marrying. Tatum has starred in such blockbusters as 21 Jump Street, G.I Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, and, both cinematic treasures Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. Dewan has not only continued to dance professionally but has starred in a plethora of television shows such as Supergirl and The Witches Of East End, and is also the host of the major competition series, World Of Dance. It is hard to be terribly sad when two pretty people break up because I am sure there is a line of hundreds of single hopefuls forming outside the Tatum-Dewan dwelling as we speak. Never the less, we can hope the couple handles their separation like they did their relationship, with class and respect. Check out the couple’s full official statement below!
