Hope you are ready to two step into fall because there is going to be A LOT of dancing on ABC come September. Their tried and true ratings goldmine, Dancing With The Stars, will be back for it’s one millionth season but the more interesting component to this story is the mystery surrounding the cast of the very first Dancing With The Stars: Juniors premiering in October! We have seen all-stars and athletes already, so logically the next choice for a series spinoff would be kids. We know that the hosts of the show will be the season 25 winner Jordan Fisher and the Benjamin Button of child stars, Frankie Muniz. Two of the judges have also been announced with one being Mandy Moore…except not the “Rebecca Pearson” from This Is Us, Mandy Moore. This Moore is the choreographer who lent her talents to big hits like La La Land. The other judge will be Olympian turned mirror-ball champ, Adam Rippon. While the celebrity cast has yet to be announced there are lots of rumors circulating that Alana Thompson aka Honey Boo Boo from is being courted to join the roster.
Earlier today, TMZ reported that DWTS is dying to get there hands on some Honey Boo Boo. The casting choice makes perfect sense since Jessica Alba already proved that anyone named Honey can dance… According to TMZ the Toddlers And Tiaras star can earn up to $130,000 by making it to the final rounds of the competition. If it turns out that Honey Boo Boo has two left shoe-shoes, she will still be reeling in some cash as she will make $50,000 just for signing on. You can buy a real shiny tiara with that much dough.
Check back here as we will keep you posted on who will be Honey Boo Boogie’n down this season! Dancing With The Stars: Juniors premieres Sunday, October 7th at 8pm EST on ABC.
