If you thought kids say the darnedest things wait until you hear what they sing about.
Eight-year old Jolee Dunn did not want to go to sleep one night so she thought she’d distract her mom with an impromptu song pondering one of life’s biggest questions: what’s inside your butthole?
The lyrics to the now viral song go a little something like this:
“I wonder what’s inside your butthole, I wonder what’s inside your butthole. Maybe there is astronauts, maybe there is aliens, all inside your butthole. What’s inside your butthole, I always wanna know. What’s inside your butthole, I always wanna know.”
Luckily for us Jolee’s mom, Lisa Rieffel-Dunn, captured the little lyrical genius on film and shared the performance on her social media. When speaking with Mashable Rieffel-Dunn said “Jolee is constantly making funny little songs. She is the funniest human I have ever met.” When asked what the inspiration for the song was little Jolee simply said “Sometimes you just think about buttholes, man.” So profound.

Maybe more impressive than the song itself is the amount of covers flooding social media right now. Fans from around the world are taking a crack at remixing the butthole bop. Even How I Met Your Mother star Josh Radnor performed a somewhat romantic take on the song along with his bandmate Ben Lee.
