Michael McKean Struck By Car In New York City
It is being reported that actor Michael McKean, most famous for his portrayal of the lead singer in THIS IS SPINAL TAP, as well as playing Lenny in "Laverne and Shirley" was hit by a car in New York City.
It is being reported that actor Michael McKean, most famous for his portrayal of the lead singer in THIS IS SPINAL TAP, as well as playing Lenny in “Laverne and Shirley” was hit by a car in New York City.
According to McKean spokeswoman, Harriet Sternberg, McKean was struck at West 86th Street and Broadway in Manhattan just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. He suffered a broken leg and was taken to St. Luke’s hospital for treatmecnt.
No other information was released, other than the actor is now in stable condition.
He is currently starring in the Broadway production of Gore Vidal’s political drama, “Best Man.”
