Four New Wax Sculptures Of Whitney Houston Are Unbelievably Real Looking

Madame Tussauds is remembering legendary singer Whitney Houston with four remarkably accurate wax sculptures of the singer, depicting her at various stages of her career.

Madame Tussauds is remembering legendary singer Whitney Houston with four remarkably accurate wax sculptures of the singer, depicting her at various stages of her career. The figures will be unveiled on Thursday, nearly a year after her passing.

Whitney WaxEach of the four figures were created at their studio in London, but they will be displayed in separate cities.

The figures include Houston performing the national anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl. (That one will live in Washington, D.C.’s Tussauds. Houston in her iconic role from The Bodyguard  will be displayed in Hollywood.

Las Vegas will be home to the young Houston as seen in her 1988 video for “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”; and New York will exhibit a more recent likeness of the singer.

Houston’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston released a statement on behalf of the family.
“We were extremely honored when Madame Tussauds approached us about doing four figures of Whitney from different points in her 30-year career … This is something we are excited to do for the fans.” 

Each figure cost up to $300,000 to make.
