It is being reported that Amber Portwood is in the hospital after a failed suicide attempt.
According to Radar Online, the “16 and Pregnant” star was found unconscious in her home with a rope around her neck, this afternoon, and was rushed to a nearby Anderson, Indiana hospital. She had also reportedly swallowed a handful of various pills.
Earlier in the day, Portwood had a disturbing phone conversation with the father of her two-year-old daughter and on-again, off-again boyfriend, Gary Shirley. After he hung up on her, Shirley called Portwood’s mother, and said she should go to the reality star’s home to make sure she was okay.
This is only the latest event in a string of trouble for Portwood. She was caught physically abusing Shirley on the MTV show that made her famous, temporarily lost custody of her daughter in early May, and just last week, she plead guilty to domestic battery charges.
Portwood is reportedly conscious and stable.
