In the world of Reality TV, it seems like more and more people are getting paid more and more for doing absolutely nothing. It seems like we have someone of the exception…
According to Us Weekly, Ashley Hebert, the former ‘Bachelor’ cast-off and star of the most recent season of “The Bachelorette”, made a total of only $30,000 for her two months filming the show.
I’ll put that into perspective for you: The studio has reportedly shelled out up to $100,000 for past cast members, and ABC paid 2009 ‘Bachelor’ Jason Mesnick and his love Molly Malaney $30,000 for their two-hour wedding special last year alone.
As for other shows, Christina Aguilera and the cast of “Jersey Shore” make over six figures an episode for their respective shows. The rest of the judges on “The Voice” make close to six figures.
Either way, $30,000 for two months of dating…not bad. But at least we know not everyone is making ridiculous bank…
