Bravo to Delay “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Premiere. Is Cancellation Next?

The cast and crew of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has been told that the Sept. 5 premiere date will be pushed least one week in the wake of Russell Armstrong’s suicide.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source says that executives from Bravo and producer Evolution Entertainment met with cast members Tuesday to discuss the fate of the show, with some suggesting to scrap the season altogether. The source says,

“People are concerned about being associated with the show and his passing.”

While editors have already been working to re-edit the first episode, the source says that Bravo does not currently plan to cancel the season entirely.

No other information has been given at this time.
