Heidi Klum and Seal Split
Most of the time when I read of a celebrity breakup, I’m a little emotionless: “Meh. Okay.” But for some reason I think it’s kind of a bummer that Seal and Heidi Klum are splitting up. Could one celebrity couple stay together? Nope, says life.
The couple released a statement to PEOPLE Magazine, the celebrity breakup news outlet of choice, in which the Project Runway host and the singer say:
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.
“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.
“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
It’s too bad. I liked them together, and they seemed to have a ‘no BS’ approach to celebrity life.
The couple had four kids togethe r- Leni, 7, Henry, 6, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2. They also had the most bizarre and amazing Halloween Costume parties ever. Like hardcore, ‘do not phone-in your costume’ kind of parties. I hope Heidi keeps having them. I am happy to assist in the planning.
