Accused Alec Baldwin Stalker Sets Up Twitter, Tries to Introduce Herself to the World
The actress arrested last week for stalking Alec Baldwin is trying to reintroduce herself to the world.
40-year-old Genevieve Sabourin spoke out in an interview with Canadian wire service QMI Agency, saying that after all the commotion, she can’t help but feel “like a fugitive, like a hunted animal.”
Sabourin was charged with five misdemeanor offenses in New York City, including aggravated harassment and stalking. She said after her release, she immediately left the city, drove upstate and hid out in a Best Western:
“I was paralyzed the first days…When fatigue took over, the tears came. They are tears of despair, especially when you don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel because the machine is too big.”
To help reintroduce herself to the world, Sabourin also set up a Twitter account. In her profile, she made it clear that this had nothing to do with Baldwin, writing “Alec Baldwin, no comment about him or the case Simply but truly introducing myself: Genevieve Sabourin actress and my little puppy Charlie”. I, personally, can’t wait for the onslaught of jokes about her “following” people on Twitter.
Sabourin is next due in court May 14.
