BEETLEJUICE 2 News: Everybody May Return! We’re Just Waiting For a Script!

Fans, get ready! It seems like we may just have the perfect BEETLEJUICE sequel coming our way, after all!
In a new interview with Bloody-Disgusting, BEETLEJUICE and DARK SHADOWS writer Seth Grahame-Smith gave a quick update on the world of BEETLEJUICE 2, saying that all the characters are expected to return:
“It’s all possible. In terms of the story, however, many years that are between the two films will be the amount of years that are between the two story lines…It’s not a reboot or a remake, it’s a straight sequel with Michael Keaton returning as Beetlejuice.”
So what is taking so long to get everything moving? Turns out, it’s all because Grahame-Smith! He explains:
“I’ve met with Michael Keaton about it, I’ve met with Tim [Burton] about it. Warner Brothers is obviously eager…But right now the ball is in my court to crack the story that will make it worth doing this again. I don’t want to have to look fans in the face and apologize for making a bad ‘Beetlejuice’ movie. And I don’t want to make anything just because I can.”
OMG This is awesome!!! Ofcourse you can’t beat the first. It’s like that with most though. As long as M. Keaton is still Beetlejuice Then GO IT!!! You got nothing to lose. People will go see this when/if it comes out. I Can’t Wait!
