Read Hillary Clinton’s Rejection Letter to FIVE YEAR ENGAGEMENT Star Jason Segel
Besides a few wonderful pictures of dancing in Colombia and submitting her own original text to her Tumblr alter-ego, here is just another reason why Hillary Clinton is awesome.
“How I Met Your Mother” star Jason Segel has mentioned frequently how much he’d love to work with Clinton on screen. The writer-actor told Us Weekly back in March that he felt Clinton had a knack for comedy, and has joked that she is the titular mother is in the hit CBS sitcom.
Apparently, Clinton heard about Segel’s propositions to her, and wrote him one of the best rejection letters ever created (via Politico):
“I was delighted to read about your interest in sharing the big screen with me. As you can imagine, I am a little occupied at the moment, but perhaps someday I can help you forget Sarah Marshall … again. My only condition is that there be Muppets involved, and that is non-negotiable. In the meantime, you have my best wishes for continued success with your career.”
