Just in case you wanted any more dead celebrities coming back to life for the purpose of a concert or two, we are now bringing you…virtual Elvis!

Okay…maybe WE aren’t bringing you virtual Elvis, but the group behind virtual Tupac is!

According to MSNBC, Digital Domain Media Group has teamed with Core Media Group to create a virtual Elvis for appearances on film, television and other media.

Digital Domain, the creators of the holographic Tupac that performed at this year’s Coachella Festival, says that concerts will be an option for the future, as well.

Core Media, which owns the rights to Elvis’ likeness, recently restructured itself after another of its properties, “American Idol,” saw a ratings drop last season. The company also recently spoke about other Elvis projects, including a revamp of the Graceland museum, a possible drama series and a duets album.

Further details, including when we will be able to witness the first holographic Elvis appearance, will be announced at some point in the future.
