Will Angelina Jolie Be Directing The “Fifty Shades of Grey” Movie?

For some strange reason, this feels…right…

According to Worst Previews, Angelina Jolie is in talks with Universal Pictures to direct the movie adaptation of the best-selling romance novel FIFTY SHADES OF GREY.

The book, which you can find on basically any woman’s nightstand in America right now, became a sudden smash hit over the last few months, causing Universal to shell out seven-figures for the trilogy’s movie rights.  (The follow ups include “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed”.)

While there is no confirmation from either party, Universal has hinted that if Jolie was interested, they would gladly take her on.  Something tells me she’d do an excellent job…

“Fifty Shades of Grey” follows the story of 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and his sexual relationship with 22-year-old virgin college student Anastasia Steele.
