It’s one thing if the original writer of “The Shining”, Stephen King, is revisiting the Overlook with a sequel book, but do we really want a prequel of the movie straight from Hollywood Studio execs?

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Warner Bros., which made the 1980 film based on King’s legendary book, is considering making a prequel to THE SHINING.

King, himself, has been working on his “Shining” followup, “Doctor Sleep,” which features a grown-up Danny Torrance facing his demons.
