Months Before Scandal, SNOW WHITE Director and Wife Both Said Working With Stewart Was “Literally A Dream”
I think this is definitely a case of hindsight being 20/20, don’t you?
While Liberty Ross, the wife of SNOW WHITE director Rupert Sanders, may not be a huge fan of star Kristen Stewart these days, it is safe to say that a few months ago, it was an entirely different story.
While speaking to Access Hollywood at the SNOW WHITE Los Angeles premiere back in May, Ross said that getting to work with Stewart was “a dream”:
“So amazing, it was literally a dream. I couldn’t really believe it was happening...It’s all been amazing, really amazing.”
To make things a tad more awkward, the 33-year-old British Vogue model/actress played Stewart’s mother (ouch).
As for Sanders, he told the site that at first, he was unsure about directing his own wife and mixing personal affairs with business:
“It was quite nerve racking at first I think…It’s a bit nervous going into it, but then when we started working. We had fun doing it. [Liberty] is very good.”
Just yesterday, Sanders released a statement on his exposed hook up with Stewart, apologizing to his family:
“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family…My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
Meanwhile, Us Magazine reveals that in an interview that took place a few months ago, Ross admitted to marriage problems, saying that moving from London to Los Angeles was a bit rough and isolating:
“I romanticized domesticity for a while, and loved having a shopping list of groceries stuck to the fridge for the first time…But moving here and starting a life all over again was a lot harder than I had anticipated. I just didn’t think it would be as isolating and daunting as it turned out to be.”
Ross also said that with Sanders’ hectic schedule as he tried to launch his own career, she almost felt like a single mom:
“I would never say out loud that I am raising my children alone, but a lot of the time it has felt like that.”
Something tells me there may be a little trouble in the future with that planned sequel…
