LL Cool J’s Intruder Still In Hospital, Faces Life In Prison
Last week, we told you about LL Cool J taking down an intruder in his Los Angeles home. Well now, we’re getting word as to what punishment the burglar could be facing, and that’s not even including the list of injuries he sustained in the beatdown!
WorstPreviews is reporting that 56-year-old Jonathan A. Kirby has been charged with first degree burglary with a person present. While that charge may not bring much time behind bars on its own, it also makes Kirby a Third Strike Offender. That means that if he’s convicted, he will face a maximum of 38 years to life in prison.
Kirby, who may be suffering from mental illness, suffered a broken nose and jaw when LL found him in his house last week. Prosecutors asked the judge to set his bail at $1.1 million.
Talk about adding insult to injury…
