See Hollywood React To Clint Eastwood’s Invisible Obama Chair Speech

This is just too good to let go...

This is just too good to let go…

If you haven’t seen it yet, Clint Eastwood spoke at the RNC Convention Thursday night to show his support for Mitt Romney.  And when I say spoke, I mean that he had a 12 minute conversation with a chair that contained an invisible Barack Obama…

Within 24 hours, celebrities everywhere took to Twitter and the interwebs to sound off on what was by far the strangest political moment of the convention, and we got some great little postings (via Today and Access Hollywood) below for you.

Check out the full video, as well as the best Twitter response of them all, way down below.  And in the meantime, enjoy the wonderful responses that follow.

Bill Maher: “Wow. Who knew Clint Eastwood was such a down the line rightwing (expletive)?”

Seth Myers: “When Clint woke up this morning he saw that Obama was gone from the chair…Or was he still there!?!?!”

Piers Morgan: ” Still reeling from that #Clint performance – sooooooooo weird.”

Patton Oswalt: “I love you, Clint. I always will. But you changed the theme of the RNC from “WE BUILT THIS” to “I CAN’T WATCH THIS”.

Tom Brokaw: “Clint Eastwood became huge star as a man of few words As a surprise guest on the Tampa stage he had too many words (I say as a friend).”

Blake Shelton: “I. Love. Clint Eastwood.”

Nancy Lee Grahn: “20 years ago I wanted Clint Eastwood to make my day. Now I just want him to take his pills and b grateful he doesnt need medicare.”

Seth Meyers: “That was so awesome. Biden has to go shirtless for DNC to top it.”

Charlie Daniels: “Clint Eastwood made my day.”

Lawrence O’Donnell: “And so on this day, August 30, 2012, @MittRomney became a better actor than Clint Eastwood.”
