VIDEO: Watch Toby Keith Help A Returning Soldier Surprise His Wife On Stage At His Concert

At a recent Toby Keith concert in Houston, one fan got the surprise of a lifetime when Keith not only randomly pulled her on stage, but gave her back her long-deployed husband. 

In a new YouTube video that’s been going viral, Keith asks for a volunteer from the audience, saying, “Before I do this next song, I said I was drinking to the families tonight of the people that are proud to wear our country’s uniform…Has anyone here tonight got a soldier, a Marine overseas that you love and honor?”

While hundreds of hands went up in the crowd, Keith and his crew had only one woman in mind…the wife of Major Pete Cruz.  After spotting her, the country singer pulled her up on stage and said that he was going to play his hit, “American Soldier” as a tribute to her husband who was stationed in Afghanistan.

As the song ends, however, the band suddenly transitions into “The Star Spangled Banner,” and a man comes on stage to hand Keith a different guitar.  That man was Major Cruz…and the reaction is absolutely priceless.
